On November 2, two militants were killed, identified as Zahid Ahmed Reshi and Arbaz Ahmed Mir, in an encounter at the Larnoo area of the Anantnag District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. Addressing a joint presser at Wuzur, Qazigund headquarters, Commander 2 sector RR Brigadier Anirudh Chouhan said that on October 8, Arbaz Mir killed Rifleman Hilal Ahmed and fled along with another militant to Kulgam. He said that one United States (US)-made M-4 rifle and an AK rifle were recovered along with arms and ammunition from the slain terrorists.
