The Police of Jharkhand and Bihar and the Central Reserve Polie Force (CRPF) during a joint operation recovered a 20 kilograms Improvised Explosive Device (IED) bomb at a distance of 300 yards from Bhelwaghati Police Station area of Giridih District of Jharkhand on November 2, reports insiderlive.in. Action on information received from the intelligence agency; the Police of both the districts conducted a search operation and recovered this bomb planted by the cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) in a mustard oil tin in the bushes under the culvert near Guruvad village. The bomb was planted by the Maoists with the aim of harming the paramilitary forces during the elections.
