SAA event in Vojvodina, Titel area, Serbia on Sat 9th November 2024

Seven people were injured following an accidental discharge of a rifle at a wedding after shotgun pellets dispersed upon striking a concrete surface, resulting in injuries to several guests. Preliminary investigations initially suggested the incident occurred while attempting to shoot an apple as part of a traditional practice. However, further findings indicate that the discharge was likely due to improper handling of the firearm by the 26-year-old groom, who is in custody under suspicion of unauthorized production, possession, carrying, and trafficking of firearms and explosive materials, as well as endangering public safety.
