Undefined Explosive Device (UED) event in Colombia on Sat 2nd November 2024

On 2 November 2024, in Popayan (Cauca), FARC dissidents launched several explosive cylinders from a vehicle at the Popayan military base. However, the explosives failed to reach their target and detonated around the base, causing no damage or injuries. This attack took place in the context of the anniversary of FARC commander Alfonso Cano's death, who was killed by the army during a military operation on November 4, 2011. There were no casualties.
