Undefined Explosive Device (UED) event in Colombia on Sat 2nd November 2024

On 2 November 2024, in Guapi (Cauca), members of the Rafael Aguilera FARC dissident front, with support from the Jaime Martinez front, attacked the local police station with firearms and explosives. During the attack, three dissidents died after the premature activation of an explosive device they intended to detonate against the police station. Two police officers sustained minor injuries, and multiple nearby properties were damaged by the explosion. This attack took place in the context of the anniversary of FARC commander Alfonso Cano's death, who was killed by the army during a military operation on November 4, 2011. 3 fatalities.
