On 3 November 2024, overnight until morning, Israeli warplanes drones and warplanes fired flares over the villages of the western and central sectors (coded to Kherbet Selm (Bint Jbeil, Al Nabatieh)) all the way to the outskirts of the Litani River and sea coast (coded separately). Casualties unknown. This event is part of what the Israeli army called its 'new phase' of its war on Gaza, amid hostilities against Hezbollah.
