Missile event in Lebanon on Fri 8th November 2024

On 8 November 2024, at 1:20 pm, Hezbollah fighters targeted with a guided missile an Israeli military bulldozer accompanied by an Israeli infantry force that tried to advance towards the Sari hill in the northwest of Kfar Kila (Marjayoun, Al Nabatieh). Hezbollah claimed its destruction, and the killing and wounding of its crew coded to 0, as well as certain injuries among the accompanying force. Later at 5 pm, Hezbollah fighters targeted with a guided missile an armored personnel carrier, still at the Sari hill. Hezbollah also claimed its destruction and the killing and wounding of those inside, coded to 0. Israeli soldiers were also driven back with rocket fire by Hezbollah affiliates at the Fatima Gate. This event is part of what the Israeli army called its 'new phase' of its war on Gaza, amid hostilities against Hezbollah.
