On 24 October 2024, in Pale town (Pale township, Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), the Black Leopard Army (People's Defense Force - Yinmarbin District Battalion-11) attacked Myanmar military troops stationed at a police station using 20 rounds of 80mm heavy weapon from around 5 am until 9 am. 7 military troops were killed, and 3 others sustained severe injuries.
