On 25 October 2024, RSF machine gunfire and artillery shelling targeted civilians in Al Sireha (Al Kamlin, Al Jazirah). 50-500 (mostly male) civilians were killed, 200-214 were injured, and 150 were abducted and detained in detention centers in Cap Al Jidad. RSF sexually assaulted an unspecified number of women, who later committed suicide, and claimed it took control of the village.
