On 26 October 2024, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike in Aadayseh Marjayoun town (Marjayoun, Al Nabatieh). The Israeli military also equipped buildings and tunnels with remote explosives and detonated them across the town. The tunnels are believed to be constructed and used by Hezbollah. This event is part of what the Israeli army called its 'new phase' of its war on Gaza, amid hostilities against Hezbollah. There were no casualties.
