On 29 October 2024, in Ho Hko village (coded as Ho Hko (North)) (Nawnghkio township, Kyaukme district, Shan-North state), the Myanmar military forces conducted airstrikes by dropping bombs on a detention camp of the People's Defense Force - Mandalay (MDY-PDF), where prisoners of war from the military and other prisoners were detained, for the second day. The airstrikes killed 4 individuals, including a military major, and injured another one.
