Grenade event in Sindh, Kotri, Jamshoro District area, Pakistan on Sat 26th October 2024

The Sindhudesh Revolutionary Army (SRA) cadres lobbed a hand grenade at the Khursheed Police Post in the Kotri SITE area of Jamshoro District in Sindh on October 26, reports The Balochistan Post. The ‘spokesperson’ for the SRA, Sudho Sindhi, claimed responsibility for the grenade attack. In a statement issued to the media, Sudho Sindhi asserted that the SRA targeted the post in response to alleged actions by the Sindh Police and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD). The spokesperson alleged that the Police in Jamshoro had been involved in harassing, arresting, and, in some cases, fatally injuring nationalist activists and their families. Sudho Sindhi issued a warning to Sindh Police, especially those in Jamshoro, to cease what he described as “serving the state’s forces and agencies.” He cautioned that, if such actions continued, the SRA would intensify its attacks.
