Undefined Explosive Device (UED) event in United States of America on Fri 25th October 2024

The Cache County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report Friday night from a local resident in Hyrum who discovered what appeared to be old military ordnance buried on his property. Deputies confirmed the object’s appearance suggested it could be military ordnance. To ensure public safety, deputies evacuated nearby homes as a precaution. The CCSO coordinated with Hill Air Force Base, whose explosive ordnance disposal team is now on scene managing the item’s safe removal and disposal.
