On 20 October 2024, Israeli drones carried out an airstrike on the building of the Al Qard Al Hassan Association in Ali en Nahri (Zahle, Bekaa). Casualties unknown. The Israeli army announced that it would attack several infrastructures of the Al Qardh Al Hassan financial institution affiliated with Hezbollah and requested people to stay 500 meters away from their buildings in Lebanon. This event is part of what the Israeli army called its 'new phase' of its war on Gaza, amid hostilities against Hezbollah.
