On 21 October 2024, Russian forces launched one Iskander-M/North Korean KN-23 ballistic missile, one Kh-35 and one Kh-31P missile, and 116 strike drones (including Shahed-136/131s) drones against the targets in Ukraine. 59 drones were intercepted by Ukrainian Forces, some of them over Kyiv region and 45 drones were 'lost,' possibly due to Ukrainian electronic warfare (EW) countermeasures. The fallen debris of the downed drones and missiles damaged an apartment building in Hlevakha, Kyiv. No casualties.
