On 21 October 2024, at 8:15 and 9:15 am, Hezbollah announced that it had fired a salvo of rockets targeting Israeli forces in the eastern and western outskirts of Markaba town (Marjayoun, Al Nabatieh). The group announced that its direct hits resulted in casualties among Israeli soldiers. The party also announced that it had attacked with heavy fire rescue forces who attempted to move injured soldiers. Casualties Unknown.
