On 22 October 2024, in Ho Mein village (Namhsan township, Pa Laung Self-Administered Zone, Shan-North state), the Myanmar military launched airstrikes and dropped a 500lb bomb on the village at around 1 am. RFA reported that a woman was killed. Mizzima and Shwe Phee Myay News Agency reported that five civilians were killed, and four others were injured. Fatalities coded as 1, using the lowest estimate.
