Russian soldiers in the Artemovsk direction found homemade ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) stuffed with white phosphorus. This is reported by the Fifth Channel.
"Chemical weapons in the Artemov direction in the DPR were used by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. (...) Presumably, we are talking about ammunition with white phosphorus. Depending on the concentration and number of inhalations, this substance is potentially deadly," the publication says.
It is noted that soldiers of the Ukrainian army used prohibited ammunition in combination with drones.
In March, it was reported that the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) received information about the use of toxic chemicals by the Ukrainian military and would carefully check the recorded facts. The use of toxic chemicals by the Armed Forces of Ukraine became known in February 2023
