On October 24, Manipur Police announced on X that Security Forces (SFs) recovered one INSAS rifle without magazine, one country-made 9mm Pistol with magazine, three .36 Hand Grenade, three Carbine magazine, four 9mm live ammunition, 14 fired cases of ammunitions, two Tear smoke grenade, four Tear smoke shell, one Baofeng Hand set, one BP Assam Rifles carried out combing operations in areas between Songkhom and Gunjil village in Chandel District and recovered one Automatic Weapon (9 mm), two locally-made mortars (Pompi), one single-barrel gun, ammunition and war-like stores, reports India TodayNE on October 24.
