A local Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader of Lasbela District, Bashir Ahmed Muhammad Hasni, was shot dead by unidentified assailants near Bhawani area of Hub District in Balochistan in the night of October 21, reports Dawn. Police said that Bashir Ahmed Muhammad Hasni was going home in his car when unidentified assailants opened fire on his car near Bhawani area, seriously injuring him. However, the PPP leader Bashir succumbed to his injuries in the hospital during treatment.
