SAA event in Jharkand, Jingur Forest, Latehar District area, India on Tue 15th October 2024

Six Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) imposters, identified as kingpin Anil Kumar Yadav (24) of Jingur village, Sagar Yadav (22), Akhilesh Yadav (22), Mithilesh Yadav (25), Sheonandan Yadav (20), and Jawed Ansari (25), were arrested from Jingur Forest area under Manika Police Station limits in Latehar District of Jharkhand on October 15, reports The Times of India. Barwadeeh Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Bharat Ram said, “Yadav and his five accomplices used to masquerade as Maoists and extort money from contractors.” The Police also found weapons, including a country-made firearm, four country-made rifles, four live cartridges, six mobile phones, and four camouflage uniforms, from a pond in Manikpoora Forest.
