SAA event in Manipur, Langol Game Village Zone III, Imphal West District area, India on Mon 14th October 2024

Manipur Police announced on X that on October 14, Police arrested seven cadres of Kangleipak Communist Party - Nongdrenkhomba (KCP-Nongdrenkhomba), identified as  Loushambam Alin Singh (26), Konsam Rohit Singh (23), Sanju Wahengbam (20) alias Lemba, Phanjoubam Thoiba Mangang (26) alias Malemnganba, Waikhom Hero Meetei (21), Yanglem Bikash Meitei (23) alias Amujao and Henthoibi Moirangthem (41) alias Chan from Langol Game Village Zone III area under Lamphel-Police Station in Imphal West District of Manipur. They were involved in extortion activities and threatening to general public in and around the Imphal area. Police recovered one Toyota Fortuner white in colour and five number plates, one Hyundai Grand i10 white in colour, one Royal Enfield Classic 350 brown in colour, one pistol along with one magazine loaded with two live rounds, one pistol along with one empty magazine, Mobile phones and other incriminating articles and Camouflage uniforms and gears, from their possession.
