#Burkina | On 08/10 at daybreak, more than 150 Ansarul Islam terrorists ( #JNIM ) attacked the military post of #Boko ( #Centre_Nord , #Namentenga ). Despite the resistance of the #FDS , the toll among the military is heavy. 🔴 More than 18 soldiers and #VDP were killed, and many wounded were evacuated to the hospital in #Kaya . 🔵 The camp was looted and burned by the terrorists, who temporarily took control of it. 🔹 Among the #FDS defending this camp were several magistrates who had been requisitioned on 9/08 to participate in operations to secure the country. The fate of these magistrates is currently unknown. 🔸 The terrorist group #JNIM claimed responsibility for this attack and released several videos of this raid. 🔹 The village of #Boko had already been the target of a deadly terrorist attack on May 9, 2024, in which more than 75 soldiers and civilians lost their lives.
