On 11 October 2024, in Tar Pei village (Natogyi township, Mandalay region), the Myanmar military launched airstrikes on the village at about 9 pm without an armed clash occurring. Radio Free Asia reported that 2 civilians were killed, and at least 10 others sustained injuries, while Khit Thit Media and Mizzima reported that 3 civilians, including a four-year-old child, were killed, and 6 others sustained injuries. Fatalities coded as 2 using the lowest estimate.
