On 14 October 2024, RSF, backed by a militia (described as an Arab militia, coded as Darfur Arab militia) shelled the Nevasha market in Abu Shouk IDP Camp (Al Fasher, North Darfur). Between 13 and 14 October, 40 civilians were killed and wounded in El Fasher and Abu Shouk IDPs Camp (coded separately). Fatalities coded as 20, with 3 fatalities coded in the 13 October event in El Fasher. Remaining 17 fatalities split between three events and coded as 5.
