On 15 October 2024, in Myingyan township (Myingyan district, Mandalay region), the Myanmar military conducted an airstrike and dropped three bombs on a local people's defense force outpost near the Yone Toe Taung area on the east side of the township at night. 6 members of PDF were killed. Separately, the military conducted airstrikes and dropped bombs at other two locations in Myingyan township. VOA reported that 6 PDF members were killed while MPA reported that 4 were killed and some were injured and RFA reported that 5 were killed. Fatalities coded as 4, using the lowest estimate.
