Hoax event in Kyiv, Ukraine on Mon 14th October 2024

The law enforcement officers are conducting inspections in connection with numerous anonymous letters about mining in different regions of Ukraine.

Details: It is indicated that anonymous letters about the replacement of their buildings are received at the e-mail addresses of state authorities, local governments and other objects. Inspections are being carried out.

In particular, the office of "Ukrainian Pravda" became a victim of reports of landmines.

Verbatim from the NPU : "The National Police of Ukraine has been dealing with this kind of reports for more than a year, and a corresponding algorithm for responding to such events has been worked out. It is possible that the enemy is trying to destabilize the situation in the regions of our country in this way, so it uses informational and psychological special operations for this purpose.

There are enough police forces and means to check every facility. Specialized services work on the ground. We call on citizens to be attentive and assist the police in the performance of their official duties. Based on the results of the checks, we will inform you further."
