The online media "Pershiy Kryvorizky" received a message about mining in its editorial mail.

Olga Vasylets, the representative of the Institute of Mass Information in Dnipro and Oblast, was informed about this by the executive director of First Kryvyi Rih Sofia Skyba.

According to her, the letter arrived at 12:42. Currently, the editorial office works in a hybrid format, so it did not affect the work of the team.

The police and rescue service immediately contacted the editorial office because of the letter about the alleged mine-mining.

"From the words of the police and rescuers, we understood that such a call was not the only one. I'm not a security expert, but we've seen these kinds of reports over the past five years, in waves. Sometimes they "passed" the shopping center, then schools, then something else. I think it could well be the Russians, but it could also be something domestic. Since the letter does not mention our editorial office. Of course, although we understand that, most likely, this is a campaign aimed at intimidating people throughout the country, but it is disturbing to receive such messages," said Sofia Skiba.

The letter contains references to Ukrainian journalists who are not employees of the publication. The apostate asks to place all the responsibility on the "terrorist group Fire Cells Group".

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council, Mykola Lukashuk, reacted to the mailing of letters about the alleged mining. In his Telegram channel, he wrote that the regional council received a call about landmines, but the threat was not confirmed.

"Today, throughout the country, we witnessed attempts to destabilize through fake reports about mining of state institutions and local self-government bodies. This is aimed at disrupting the operation of important structures for the country and sowing panic among the population," Mykola Lukashuk wrote.

UPDATE at 16:54 . Around 3:30 p.m. and then at 4:00 p.m., the editorial office of Persh Kryvorizky received two more letters about mining, Sofia Skyba reported. The newsroom reported this to the police and rescuers. The contents of the letters are similar to those of the morning.
