On 13 September 2019, regime forces shelled Ma'arrat An Nu'man in Idleb in conjunction with airstrikes by regime warplanes on the town's outskirts. Shelling resulted in the killing of 3 people, including a young girl, and the injuring of 4 others. On 3 October a man succumbed to wounds received from the air raids on the town. Total fatalities coded to 4.
