Missile event in Ukraine on Mon 7th October 2024

In the Chernihiv region, sappers seized part of the Russian guided aircraft Kh-59.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Thus, the sappers of part of the pyrotechnic works, underwater and humanitarian demining of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Chernihiv region found part of the guided air missile Kh-59 in the open territory.

Pyrotechnicians seized and transported, in compliance with safety rules, the remains of the Russian missile to a specially prepared place for further destruction by the method of controlled detonation.The State Emergency Service clarified that four sappers and two units of specialized equipment were involved in the work.
