🇷🇺🇨🇳 In the Sea of Okhotsk, warships of Russia and China used anti-submarine and anti-aircraft weapons during an exercise In the Sea of Okhotsk, a joint detachment of warships from the Pacific Fleet and the Chinese Navy, during the Russian-Chinese naval exercise Beibu/Interaction-2024, practiced air defense and anti-submarine defense tasks with the practical use of weapons. According to the exercise plan, having arrived at the designated area, the detachment of warships practiced joint maneuvering, after which they were subjected to an air raid by strike drones of the aircraft type . To repel the attack of the group of strike drones, anti-aircraft missile weapons were used, as well as AK-630 artillery mounts and heavy machine gun crews. At the second stage, Russian and Chinese warships conducted a search for a mock enemy submarine , the role of which was played by one of the diesel-electric submarines of the Pacific Fleet. The ships worked out a joint formation and tactical methods for searching for an "enemy" submarine. A Ka-27PL anti-submarine helicopter with a submersible hydroacoustic station was used for the search. After detecting the underwater object, a detachment of ships organized the pursuit of the underwater "enemy", and then used RBU-6000 rocket-bomb launchers at the place of its detection. The anti-submarine warfare exercise was the final episode in the plan for the Russian-Chinese naval exercise Beibu/Interaction-2024. The joint headquarters of the exercise thanked the ships' crews for their coordinated work . After active actions, the ships' crews made the transition to the area where they replenished supplies from tankers . Then a joint Russian-Chinese detachment will be formed, which will begin joint patrol tasks in the Asia-Pacific region.
