Police recovered a television set from a Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) dump located in a forested hill area near Danteshpuram village in Sukma District in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh on September 29, reports devdiscourse.com. The television, a product of electronics firm BPL, was discovered along with a muzzle loading gun, a tiffin bomb, a pressure improvised explosive device (IED) switch, 49 syringes, firecrackers, mobile chargers, Maoist banners, literature, and medicines. These items were found during a search after the Maoists fled the area, abandoning their belongings.
