Three suspected Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres, including a woman, were killed in an encounter with security personnel in the Abujhmarh Forest area in Narayanpur District in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh on September 23, reports Hindustan Times. After the encounter, the security personnel carried out a search operation and found the three bodies alongside a cache of weapons, including an AK-47 rifle, from the spot, the Police statement claimed. The identities of the slain Maoists are yet to be ascertained.
