On September 21, a combined team of Security Forces (SFs) including Indian Army and Police carried out a search operation in the heavily forested upper reaches of Thangjing Ridge in Churachandpur District of Manipur, reports NorthEast Now. The operation led to the recovery of two 9mm pistols along with magazines, a single-barrel rifle, two locally fabricated rockets, a modified long-range mortar, two modified medium-range mortars, four mortar bombs, nine live rounds of 9mm ammunition, 6.2 kilograms of grade-two explosives, and other combat materials.
