On 21 August 2019, regime helicopters dropped barrel bombs on residential areas in Telamnas in Idleb in conjunction with airstrikes by regime and Russian warplanes. Barrel bombs resulted in the killing of 3 civilians, including a young girl, and the wounding of several others. Russian warplanes carried out four airstrikes on Al-Rahma Hospital in the eastern outskirts of the town, killing 1 civilian and causing extensive damage to the hospital and its vicinity. The hospital was evacuated several hours prior to the airstrikes. Total fatalities coded to 4.
