This morning, Hezbollah launched a surface-to-surface missile at central Israel, setting off sirens in Tel Aviv and other towns.

The missile was intercepted by the medium-range David's Sling system, and no injuries were caused.

A short while later, the IDF said it struck the launcher used to fire the missile, in southern Lebanon's Nafakhiyeh.

Hezbollah takes responsibility for the attack, claiming to have targeted the Mossad headquarters near Herzliya with a "Qader 1" ballistic missile.

It says the attack is a response to the pager and walkie-talkie explosions and the assassinations of top commanders in the terror group.

There are no changes to guidelines for civilians following the attack.
