The Houthis have kidnapped more than 80 people over the past 10 days, including at least two women. From #Sana'a, #Ibb, #Dhamar, #Imran, #Mahwit and #Hodeidah

🟦 Among the detainees are three tribal sheikhs, more than five members of the Central Permanent Committee of the General People's Congress (GPC), two journalists, and the rest are activists, government employees, and bloggers.

🟦 The Houthis have imposed extensive surveillance on the movements of Congress Party leaders and tribal sheikhs in Sana'a governorate, including their homes and popular councils

🟦 The Houthi group has instructed supervisors in governorates, districts and neighbourhood elders to monitor the content of social media networks, WhatsApp groups and those calling for demonstrations on 26 September, including women's groups and schools.

🟦 The Houthis threatened dozens of tribal sheikhs and political leaders with arrest and confiscation of their money and property if they participate in the call to celebrate the 26 September Revolution in their popular councils ‘Maqail’, or on social networks.

🟦 Three tribal sheikhs in Amran have been placed under house arrest by the Houthis.

🟦 Dozens of security patrols and checkpoints have been deployed in the streets of the capital #Sana'a over the past ten days.
