On 28 August 2019, regime and Russian warplanes carried out airstrikes on Ma'arrat An Nu'man in southern Idleb countryside, killing 12 civilians including 6 children and 2 women and wounding over 30 others. A civilian died on 01/09/2019 as a result of regime airstrikes, additionally on 7 September another civilian succumbed to wounds received in the attack. Total fatalities coded to 14.
