On September 12, a joint operation of Police led by Shambhavi Mishra SDPO Margherita along with Police personnel of Pengeree Police Station and the Six Sikh Regiment arrested an active cadre of National Socialist Council of Nagaland - Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM), identified as Rangasor Chakma (a resident of Miao in Changlang District of Arunachal Pradesh) from Imthem Margherita in Tinsukia District of Assam, reports The Sentinel Assam. Police recovered two pistols, three grenades and several rounds of ammunition from a hideout in the arrest.
