Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) diffused an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), planted by the cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), at the Bailadila Iron Ore Mine in Kirandul Complex in the Dantewada District in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh on September 12, reports daijiworld.com. CISF Chief Public Relations Officer (PRO) Dy Inspector General Shrikant Kishore said that during a combing operation, the CISF team detected a pressure-activated IED weighing three kilogrammes. Later, the pressure-activated IED was dismantled on the spot by the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS).
