IED event in Manipur, Lhunkhojang Ridge, Kangpokpi District area, India on Tue 10th September 2024

Manipur Police announced on September 10 on X that Security Forces (SFs) conducted operations and area domination in the fringe and vulnerable areas of hill and valley districts. During the search operations, they recovered one .303 Sniper Rifle, one 7.62mm Sniper Rifle, one SBBL gun, one Improvised Long Range Mortar Pumpi, one Improvised Short Range Mortar, one Mobile Improvised Explosive Device (IED), four HE-36 hand grenades with detonator, three Stun shells, three Anti-riot rubber bullet, 13 live ammunition, two Long Range bomb, one Baofeng Radio Set, six blank rounds, one Tear smoke shell CS, two Tear smoke shell Dual and two No. 36 Arming ring from Lhunkhojang Ridge in Kangpokpi District of Manipur.
