An American drone targeted the so-called "Mohammed Kawan Nahar Al-Wazal", nicknamed "Abu Al-Hana", with an airstrike near the village of "Atallah" in the countryside of the city of Al-Shaddadi last Wednesday, which led to his immediate death. The US Central Command had previously announced that it had targeted an element of the "Islamic State" with an airstrike while he was planting an explosive device in eastern Syria. It is noteworthy that "Abu Al-Hana" hails from the town of Al-Azba in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and he was detained in the prisons of the "SDF" before being released in March of last year.
