#Niger 🇳🇪 | 09/18, The military base located at #Eknewan , in the commune of #Tillia , is currently under fire from terrorists from #EIGS . According to security and local sources, the attackers launched a coordinated attack at 6:30 a.m., targeting the advanced post #FDS . 🔸 The terrorists arrived in large numbers on dozens of motorcycles, storming the National Guard position where there were about a hundred elements. Local sources indicate that ISGS still controls the position, with the defending forces having been overwhelmed by the violence of the attack. 🔴 An initial assessment indicates 24 FDS killed and 8 members of the National Guard captured. 🔵 In addition, 6 vehicles were set on fire and 2 others were taken away by the terrorists along with weapons and ammunition. ⚠️ The attackers left the position.
