On 31 August 2019, American warplanes carried out airstrikes on a Wa Hared al Moa'mineen Operation Room meeting, which included Hurras al Deen and other Islamist factions, at the headquarters of Hurras al Deen in the area between Kafraya and Maaret Tamsrin in Idleb, killing 40 fighters and commanders and wounding an unknown number of others.
