#Niger 🇳🇪 | On 01/09 between #Bankilaré and #Téra , at #Dongourou ( #Tillabéri ), a convoy of #FAN was ambushed by a hundred terrorists from #EIGS . The exchange of fire was violent. 🔴 Nearly 20 #FDS were killed and around ten soldiers are missing. 🔵 The convoy was partly set on fire and looted. Several 4x4 vehicles were stolen as well as a large quantity of weapons and ammunition. ⚠️ An attempt at a truce had been made with the EIGS terrorists by the authorities in place but the government emissaries had been executed. 🔹 A three-month truce was however signed between the authorities of Niger and the Katiba Hanifa of #JNIM .
