#Niger 🇳🇪 | On 08/26 at around 6 a.m., several dozen terrorists from #Katiba_Hanifa ( #JNIM ) surrounded and attacked the camp of the Niger National Guard ( #GNN ) of #Bouloundjounga ( #Tillabéri ) 4km from #Samira and 10km from the border with #Burkina 🇧🇫 . 🔴 7 #FDS were killed in the attack, and about ten others are missing. 🔹 Only 2 vehicles #FAN were able to escape. 🔹 A search operation was launched following the attack. A drone was sent to the scene to prevent elements of #JNIM from crossing the Sirba River. ⚠️ The company of #GNN , composed of 80 #FDS , ensures the protection of the gold mine of #Samira_Hill , the only commercial mine in the country.
