A bomb blast near the vehicle of tribal leader Malik Jameel in the Karri Kot village of Wana tehsil (revenue unit) South Waziristan District Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulted in the death of his son and injuries to four other persons, including the leader himself, on September 8, reports Aaj TV. According to Police, the incident occurred as Malik Jameel was traveling from Karri Kot to Wana Bazaar. The explosion, which took place near his vehicle on the roadside, killed his son, Shamsuddin, on the spot.
