On September 6, at least eight individuals, identified as Kalim Ullah, Mohammad Khorshed Alam, Mohammad Hasan Sharif Laden, Mohammad Shaheen, Mohammad Mizan, Abdul Malek, Abdul Hai, and Abdul Aziz, were arrested with arms and ammunition during a joint forces' drive in Sadar Upazila (Sub-District) in Cox's Bazar District of Chittagong Division, reports The Daily Star. An official from the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) confirmed the arrest and said that a large amount of local and foreign arms and ammunition was recovered in the five-hour drive.
