On 11 July, 2019, a VBIED planted by an unidentified armed group at an opposition checkpoint where vehicle are inspected near Turandah on the entrance of Afrin city of Aleppo detonated killing 4 opposition faction members as well as 9 civilians including 3 IDPs and 2 children. The explosion also wounded numerous individuals. Total fatalities coded to 13.
