A senior Hamas rocket commander was killed in an Israeli drone strike in the Gaza Strip last week, the military announces.

According to the IDF, the strike on Tuesday killed Raaif Abu Shab, the head of the rocket unit in Hamas's East Khan Younis Battalion.

The IDF says he was responsible for rocket barrages from the Khan Younis area at southern and central Israel amid the war.
